Corie : Tri-City Maternity Photographer

I love Maternity Sessions. It is right up near the top for one of my favorite things to photograph. I feel honored that I’ve been chosen to document such a momentous time. These women are on the cusp of bringing new life into the world. Their bodies are powerful and beautiful, and I want my photographs to reflect that. I also find it a quiet and introspective time as they get ready for what’s to come, and I think it’s important to capture that too.

Meet Corie and her lovely family. Her husband, Ryan, and son, Tye, where so loving. I was really looking forward to her session because she wanted to be outside for it. It was a beautiful summer day and the sunlight-kissed meadow near the river was lovely.

Enjoy.

Jason and Kristina : Tri-City Wedding Photographer

Congratulations to Kristina and Jason! What a wonderful and fun way to kick of this year’s wedding season. Your family and friends were so warm and inviting, and your day went off without a hitch thanks to your fabulous Tri-City wedding vendors. I’ll never forget your perfect ending to your special day as the two of you jetted off to your wedding night in Jason’s classic 58’ Chevy Truck. Those pictures are amazing. You should be on postcards! I can’t wait to show you the rest of your photos. I hope you’ve got a drink with a little umbrella and are soaking up the rays in Hawaii as you see this.

I love everything about this photo: the gorgeous couple, the colors, the perfect light, and of course the beautiful blue 58’ Chevy truck.

Getting Ready

The beading and lace on Kristina’s gown and veil were gorgeous. I love how the veil frames her mother as she helps tie the bow on the dress.

Kristina

Doesn’t she make a lovely bride? This is just before the ceremony.

Rings

Jason’s ring was hand embellished by Beeman’s in Yakima. Don’t the two of them sparkle nicely on the hood of the pickup truck?

Hand In Hand

Hand in hand together forever. Congratulations Kristina and Jason!

Maiers Family : Moses Lake Family Photographer

Happy Birthday Barbara! Their whole family was in town to celebrate with a family gathering. They took advantage of everyone being in one place at the same time to get a family portrait done at the lodge on their cattle ranch. I had so much fun. What an amazing place. The stark landscape and remote location were breathtaking. I made sure to take a few photos of the ranch and the livestock to show off its rugged beauty.

Who needs trees when you have sagebrush? Seriously, I am awed by the beautiful landscape near where I live. I love to watch it change as the light rolls across its rugged features. What a beautiful place for a love story to unfold.

Meet Kristina and Jason. This lovely Zillah, Wash., couple was up for a road trip to the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge to photograph their engagement session. I was a little nervous when it started sprinkling in the morning. I was in luck, though. By late afternoon the storm clouds and the sun low in the sky emerged into light so sublime you could eat it with a spoon.

Check out the photo on the cliff. I was half kidding when I said get as close to the edge as possible. I should have known this adventuresome couple wasn’t afraid to climb out there. The photos turned out amazing! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in a few short weeks.
