I had a hard time deciding between photos for little Luka. There was another photo that showed off his beautiful long lashes (why is it the boys who always get those), but in the end, it came down to his mischievous sweet smile and cute little toes in this one. When I look at it just lights me up too, and I can’t help but smile back.

Welcome Baby Allison : Yakima Newborn Photographer

Can you believe this beautiful little sweetheart is my first newborn girl of the year! So many little boys out there this year, I guess. Well, watch out fellas because she’s going to be a heart breaker. She already surprised her parents by showing up almost three weeks early. Who knows what else she may have up her little sleeve. She certainly charmed me.

Susan G Komen Quilt

I recently did a commercial shoot for the wonderful Crabapple Hill Studio. The studio is famous for their whimsical quilt designs. Now they are taking their vast expertise and applying it to an amazing fundraiser to raise money for breast cancer research. Meg, the company owner, and her team are working on a beautiful quilt for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. They’ve partnered with famous designers from the U.S. and Australia who have each designed a square for the quilt. The final quilt will be auctioned off. Keep an eye on the studio’s blog, Knoty Girl Stichery Club, for further details on how you can participate.

Moses Lake Family Photographer

I think spring is finally here! What better way to ring it in than a beautiful family portrait session. The weather looked like it might not cooperate, but I’m so glad we chanced it because it couldn’t have turned out better. This Moses Lake family was so much fun. I particularly loved the little brother’s secret weapon to get his sisters to laugh: break dancing!

If anyone needs a cherub stand in, let me introduce you to Olivia. At ten days old she was already gorgeous. You can probably tell by looking at my photos that I’m a big fan of black and white images. But who can resist showing off these startling blue eyes. They contrast so beautifully with her rosy complexion that I just had to post her photo in color.
