Welcome Baby Camille : Prosser Newborn Photography

Sweet baby Camille you are just as pretty as your name. What a joy it was photographing this beautiful new family. I was also super excited to find out that Camille's parents, Amy and Jon, are former Midwesterners like myself. They're from Iowa and Kansas respectively while I'm from Nebraska. We got to compare bad weather stories from back home and lament about how dusty it is here in eastern Washington. But unlike this flatlander, they actually know how to ski. I'm so jealous!

Enjoy the photos! I think my favorite is the first one...no wait, maybe the last one; those bee stung lips are to die for! Oh I just can't decide. I like them all!

Shaysta: Moses Lake Senior Photography

Meet ShaystaMoon. This lovely Moses Lake High School senior is just about one of the coolest teenagers I’ve met. I’m doing my typical chatting a mile a minute to get to know her while I take her senior pictures. “So Shaysta,” I ask. “What do you like to do for fun? What’s your hobby?” Here I’m expecting the typical sports or general hobby response. But no, not miss Shaysta.

“I like to weld,” she responds casually.

What!? That’s just about the coolest response I’ve gotten to date. That’s awesome! She’s making a giant flying metal pig for her Senior Project. Now that, is something I have to see.

Anyway, this was just a quick photo shoot so she’d have a picture in time for the yearbook deadline. This spring we are going to tear it up for her full Summerland Photography Senior Session. Stay tuned. Maybe I’ll make her bring her welding gear. Now that would be something to see.

Congrats to Luka and his family!

Now for a little surprise. Initially I hadn't planned a second place; however the top two images were very close in votes, so I think it's only fair.

The "W" Family: Moses Lake Family Photography

The holidays are here! I love seeing all the lights and decorations, and what better time to show off your Christmas tutus, at least for the under five crowd.

I had the honor of photographing two adorable little sisters in their Christmas costumes. Don't they just melt your heart? Then we all headed out to Hall-A-Day Trees to check out the Moses Lake Christmas tree farm.

The last two photos I really love. She was looking for bears amongst the trees. So cute!

The "S" Family : Spokane Children Photographer

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....well at least feel like it...as in freezing! Brrr it's been so cold lately.

I had lots of fun at a recent children photography session in Spokane. What a lively group these three are. We got to travel around and explore some nearby woods for a little bit as we snapped some holiday photos. Then before we all became little popsicles, we headed inside for some hot cocoa and Christmas stories by the fire. How fun is that?

Mason: Othello Child Photographer

Hello, my name is Sandy, and sometimes I’m a bad photo mom.

Seriously, lately my parents have been threatening to take my son to Sears just to get some current pictures. Ah well, because I do it for a living, sometimes it can be hard for me to find the time to capture images of my own son growing and changing.

So Christmas card time rolls around, and I figure it’s time to get ‘er done. Of course I waited till December, and it’s freezing out, and the poor boy is getting over a cold, but too bad because it’s finally a sunny day out. Sorry kiddo, no nap today because the light is gorgeous with a capital G and time’s a tickin’.

I guess I got what I deserve, huh. What do you think? Should I use that first picture for the Christmas card? Well he is two, and yes if you’re wondering, that last photo is of him eating dried field corn. A growing boy does need his carbs, and besides, I forgot to pack a snack.

From my crazy life to yours Happy Holidays!!!

Welcome Baby Hazel : Moses Lake Baby Photographer

It's a girl! You might remember we discovered during Stephanie and Allan's maternity photography session that they weren't finding out the sex of the baby. Well now we know, and what an absolute beauty she is. I can easily pick out one word for how her new parents feel about her: euphoric. I love seeing parents so blissfully happy about their new little miracle.

The "H" Family : Moses Lake Family Photographer

I love how quiet it can be in the early morning along the shoreline of Moses Lake. The water was as smooth as glass when I photographed the lovely "M" family. They made such a charming trio, don't you think? I absolutely fell in love with their adorable son. He's at such a fun age where he's old enough to hold his head up and smile, but still all chubby cuteness and snugly. Talk about giving me serious baby fever.

There were so many images from this session that I absolutely love! Talk about a gorgeous family. But, I had to decide on just one. For me it came down to this tender and quiet moment between Alaina and her brand new baby. I love the little smile she has and how he is just zonked out and snuggled so cutely against her. You can practically see little zzzzz’s coming from his mouth.

Welcome Baby Kaleo : Richland Newborn Photography

Sweet baby Kaleo you're just as cute as your name. I loved the bright green colors in his nursery, and I couldn't help but use them in his newborn photos. Don't you think they go nicely with his full head of red hair?

"M" Family : Moses Lake Family Photography

One of my favorite things about photographing children and families is getting to document how the little ones grow up. Why less than a year ago, miss Sadie Mae was just starting to stand. Now she's running all over the place, and I have to chase her around to photograph her cuteness. All those sweet little curls and gorgeous dresses are so adorable. Thanks for the fun afternoon you guys!

Stephanie: Moses Lake Maternity Photographer

I’m so excited to reveal my latest maternity session. Stephanie and her husband, Allan, are just the most gorgeous couple, don’t you think? Their baby is going to be a knockout, and I can’t wait to see the little one when he or she arrives in a few weeks. I can’t get more specific because these two are doing the brave thing and not finding out the sex of the baby beforehand. Me, I’m much too impatient for that, so my hat is off to them. I also think it was so cute how super excited Allan is about becoming a daddy. When he wasn’t in the photos, he was bidding for the “dream stroller” on eBay. So, did you get it?
