Eric & Carla : Moses Lake Wedding Photographer

Congratulations to Carla and Eric! The recent heat wave broke giving you a beautiful summer evening wedding at Hidden Meadow in Moses Lake. Everything about your wedding was absolutely perfect, from the bejeweled cake to the party until dawn. I had so much fun spending the day with you both. The hardest part was narrowing down which photos to show you here. Have fun in Vegas you two!

Carla putting on dress

I just loved the light on her face here as they buttoned her dress.

kissing on bridge

The bridge at Hidden Meadow is the perfect place to steal a kiss!

happy family

A beautiful family and a beautiful bride!

the fellas

Eric's one request was a "Reservoir Dogs" type photo with the men in the bridal party. What do you think Mr. Tarantino about Moses Lake for your next movie?

sneaking a peek

Carla sneeks a peak at the crowd gathering.

perfect light

The light during their ceremony was such a beautiful amber color.

bridal portrait

I love this tree they were married in front of. It's like the bottom of a heart.

cake and decoration

This cake was gorgeous and the decorations devine!

the kiss

May this be the first of many more dances as you start your new life together.

Welcome Baby Miles: Pasco newborn photographer

Allow me to introduce you to baby Miles, the latest addition to an already gorgeous family. Even their dog Maggie is lovely. You can tell she’s not quite sure what to make of this newborn interloper, but she’s going to keep an eye on things regardless. I adore the photo where mom and dad are snuggling Miles, and Maggie is watching me just to make sure I don’t try anything funny.

Welcome Baby Jake : Walla Walla Newborn Photographer

Meet sweet little baby Jake. You may remember his mommy’s lovely maternity portrait session from a few weeks ago. I just love getting to come back and see the little charmer everyone has been waiting so anxiously for. We were lucky that we got so many photos of him with his bright eyes open. I think that big yawn was just him showing off how adorable he is.

Kayla : Othello Senior Photography

Meet Kayla, my Othello High School Senior Ambassador. The youngest of three, she’s super excited about becoming a senior this year. She’s very active at her school, and her many accomplishments both academically and athletically make her a natural to represent Summerland Photography. Kayla and I headed into the nearby Columbia National Wildlife Refuge to get these awesome photos of her. Who says you can’t hike in flip flops?

Ryan & Marlene : Moses Lake photography

Big blue skies, light as golden as the wheat fields, and an awesome couple make for a perfect Love Story Session. Ryan and Marlene wanted to do it at his family’s farm and ranch outside of Wilber, Wash. and they’ve been planning this session for months in order to time it just before wheat harvest. The tiny community is about an hour northeast of Moses Lake, but it feels like it’s on the top of the world. The views go on and on. I had so much fun as we traveled around their fields and pastures to get these gorgeous photos. The old home photographed belonged to Ryan’s family. You know what a sucker I am for old barns and homesteads. I’m definitely going to have to come back at a later time with my medium format camera.
