The "W" Family: Moses Lake Family Photography

The holidays are here! I love seeing all the lights and decorations, and what better time to show off your Christmas tutus, at least for the under five crowd.

I had the honor of photographing two adorable little sisters in their Christmas costumes. Don't they just melt your heart? Then we all headed out to Hall-A-Day Trees to check out the Moses Lake Christmas tree farm.

The last two photos I really love. She was looking for bears amongst the trees. So cute!

The "H" Family : Moses Lake Family Photographer

I love how quiet it can be in the early morning along the shoreline of Moses Lake. The water was as smooth as glass when I photographed the lovely "M" family. They made such a charming trio, don't you think? I absolutely fell in love with their adorable son. He's at such a fun age where he's old enough to hold his head up and smile, but still all chubby cuteness and snugly. Talk about giving me serious baby fever.

"M" Family : Moses Lake Family Photography

One of my favorite things about photographing children and families is getting to document how the little ones grow up. Why less than a year ago, miss Sadie Mae was just starting to stand. Now she's running all over the place, and I have to chase her around to photograph her cuteness. All those sweet little curls and gorgeous dresses are so adorable. Thanks for the fun afternoon you guys!

"C" Family : Tri-Cities Family Photography

Yes, Fall is definitely here. Crisp days, beautiful colors, and sweaters! This is my favorite season, and I love capturing fun family photos that will be sent out as Christmas cards at the end of the year. The "C" family where a lot of fun and we got great photos despite looming rain clouds.

Enjoy!

Beckett : Tri-City Family Photographer

Meet handsome Beckett and his awesome parents Shannon and Seth. Beckett is almost one, and his startling blue eyes and happy-go-lucky personality where charming. I loved spending the evening in the park with his family capturing photos of them together. The portrait session was a birthday present for Shannon from her son and husband. Way to go guys!

Maiers Family : Moses Lake Family Photographer

Happy Birthday Barbara! Their whole family was in town to celebrate with a family gathering. They took advantage of everyone being in one place at the same time to get a family portrait done at the lodge on their cattle ranch. I had so much fun. What an amazing place. The stark landscape and remote location were breathtaking. I made sure to take a few photos of the ranch and the livestock to show off its rugged beauty.

I think spring is finally here! What better way to ring it in than a beautiful family portrait session. The weather looked like it might not cooperate, but I’m so glad we chanced it because it couldn’t have turned out better. This Moses Lake family was so much fun. I particularly loved the little brother’s secret weapon to get his sisters to laugh: break dancing!

Baby Aiden : Pasco Family Photographer

Meet little Aiden. He's 3-months-old and very chatty! I adore this age. Their little personalities are just starting to come out. He gurgled at me in between smiles, chewing on his cute chubby fingers, and discovering his toes. I really hope I get to photograph this cutie pie growing up. I know he's going to become quite the charmer.

The cutest little holiday dresses : Moses Lake Family Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful young family recently. Their little girl was completely adorable, and had the cutest Christmas dresses I've seen to date. Did I mention that I love, love, love tutus? In fact, I'm thinking of getting a few for the studio next year, so I can have them available for portrait sessions.

Beautiful Family : Connell Family Photographer

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people through my job. I hope that I give a little bit of that joy back through my photos.

I'm also really thankful that I don't live in Arizona. It's not that I wouldn't like 70 degree weather right now, but the sunlight there is always almost directly over head. That makes really ugly photos unless you overpower it with a flash to fill in the shadows. My husband says he never noticed the light until he married a photographer. Here in the Pacific Northwest, especially in Eastern Washington, the light is always so beautiful. So while I lament that it's dark by 4:30 p.m. now, at least the light is that beautiful rose or golden color most of the day.

Speaking of taking pictures in gorgeous light, a recent family portrait session with a Connell family was so much fun. Their three beautiful daughters had so much vitality and personality. I especially loved that their middle daughter spent her time there on an "adventure" looking for dolphins in Scootney Reservoir. Lets hope she found them!
