The "S" Family : Spokane Children Photographer

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....well at least feel like it...as in freezing! Brrr it's been so cold lately.

I had lots of fun at a recent children photography session in Spokane. What a lively group these three are. We got to travel around and explore some nearby woods for a little bit as we snapped some holiday photos. Then before we all became little popsicles, we headed inside for some hot cocoa and Christmas stories by the fire. How fun is that?

Mason: Othello Child Photographer

Hello, my name is Sandy, and sometimes I’m a bad photo mom.

Seriously, lately my parents have been threatening to take my son to Sears just to get some current pictures. Ah well, because I do it for a living, sometimes it can be hard for me to find the time to capture images of my own son growing and changing.

So Christmas card time rolls around, and I figure it’s time to get ‘er done. Of course I waited till December, and it’s freezing out, and the poor boy is getting over a cold, but too bad because it’s finally a sunny day out. Sorry kiddo, no nap today because the light is gorgeous with a capital G and time’s a tickin’.

I guess I got what I deserve, huh. What do you think? Should I use that first picture for the Christmas card? Well he is two, and yes if you’re wondering, that last photo is of him eating dried field corn. A growing boy does need his carbs, and besides, I forgot to pack a snack.

From my crazy life to yours Happy Holidays!!!

Hanna : Spokane Child Photographer

Tutus, a two-year-old, and the dark, dark woods. Doesn’t this sound like the makings of a fairy tale? Well, you might call it that with sweet little Hanna as our heroine during this Summerland Child Portrait Session in Spokane, Wash. She and her mom, Marnie, explored and played, and I just adore the photos that where captured from it.

Benjamin : Tri-City Child Photography

I’m not sure who was having more fun in the tall grass, me or lively Benjamin. Either way it made for some spectacular photos. I loved using the grass to frame him as he explored and played. His mother, Margo, was a good sport and well prepared with lots of snacks, juice, and kisses for her little man. I loved her dress and the color was a perfect contrast to the green landscape.

Enjoy!

Then and Now

Little Mason is now 16-months-old! I thought it would be fun to show a few photos from five and nine months along side photos shot this week. They grow up so fast! sniffles I'm putting together an album from all of his photos. I'll be sure to post a link to it when I finish it later this week.

Luka : Tri-Cities Child Photographer

Meet Luka. This handsome little charmer just turned nine months old. His mother and father are such proud parents, and they wanted to get photos of him before he grew up too fast. He really was a happy baby, and I just couldn't stop taking pictures of him.

Danika and Jacque : Moses Lake Family Photographer

Jacque is the picture taker in the family, so she didn't have many photographs of her with her daughter. I was more than happy to help fix that problem. Her daughter, Danika, was a complete sweetheart, and she had the most infectious laugh: a cross between a chipmunk and a pixie.
